What is a Girl with Purpose:

Girls with Purpose (GWP) are girls who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Their identity and self-worth are found in God, rather than the world's standards. GWP’s are rooted in their faith and values, and they seek to live a life that honors God and reflects His love. GWP’s finds purpose and meaning in serving others and sharing the gospel. They’re confident in their faith and unapologetically share it with others. GWP’s support and encourage one another in their walk with God. Recognize their strengths and weaknesses and rely on God’s guidance and grace. Most importantly GWP’s are driven, focused, and empowered by their faith to make a positive impact in the world, and their purpose is anchored in their love for Jesus Christ.
 

About the Program:

The Girls with Purpose (GWP) Mentorship Program is a structured, faith-informed youth development program designed to support the spiritual, emotional, physical, and social growth of girls. The program integrates practical life skills with values-based instruction to help girls build confidence, develop character, and understand their God-given purpose. Through a group mentoring model, GWP provides a safe and supportive environment where girls engage in guided discussions, life skills training, community service, and faith-centered learning.

 

The program emphasizes accountability, decision-making, self-worth, resilience, and positive identity development, equipping participants with tools that encourage healthy choices and long-term personal growth. Over the course of the 12-week program, which meets every Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm youth develop leadership skills, strengthen peer relationships, and gain a clearer sense of purpose and direction.

 

Girls who complete at least 85% of the program receive a Certificate of Completion. Through this intentional approach, the Girls with Purpose program prepares  for productive, purpose-driven lives and fosters positive impact within their families and communities.
