What is a Girl with Purpose:

Girls with Purpose (GWP) is a faith-centered mentoring initiative that supports girls in developing a strong sense of identity, self-worth, and purpose rooted in their relationship with Jesus Christ. The program encourages participants to build confidence, strengthen their values, and live with intention by aligning their decisions and behaviors with faith-based principles. GWP fosters a supportive sisterhood where participants are encouraged to grow spiritually, recognize their strengths and areas for growth, and rely on guidance, accountability, and grace in their personal development. Through this foundation, girls are empowered to lead with confidence, serve others, and make positive, purpose-driven contributions in their daily lives.

 

About the Program:

Girls with Purpose (GWP) is a faith-centered mentorship program designed to empower girls in developing confidence, identity, and purpose rooted in their relationship with Jesus Christ. The program supports the spiritual, social-emotional, and personal development of participants through a structured approach that integrates life-skills training, leadership development, and values-based instruction. GWP encourages girls to build self-worth, strengthen decision-making skills, and develop resilience while fostering a positive sense of identity and accountability.

 

Through a 12-week program, with sessions held weekly on Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm, participants engage in group mentoring, guided discussions, community service, and faith-based learning in a safe and supportive environment. The program emphasizes key focus areas including emotional awareness, healthy relationships, leadership skills, and personal responsibility. Participants also build peer connections and gain practical tools to navigate real-life challenges and make positive choices. Girls who complete at least 85% of the program receive a Certificate of Completion.
